Second adventure

Hi,

It has been a while, but of course I will continue this weblog to keep you updated!

It was great to see you during the 2 weeks I was in Holland, I had such a good time, it was so much fun! I am really happy to have friends like you! On the other hand it makes it a bit difficult to be away again, I miss you a lot!

I had a very nice week of holiday in Madrid, being in that city still feels like being at home. I walked around a lot, layed down in the park, had loads of coffee on the sunny terraces and met a lot of friends. Best of all was of course to see my very good friend Víctor. Did also some cultural things, went to the theatre, to an exposition of sculptures and to the anthropology museum. I enjoyed it so much that I felt very sad leaving.

Luckily Dailos picked me up from the airport in Gran Canaria and we went straight to the mountains to spend the weekend there. Had a good laugh with friends, even though sometimes they speak with such a strange local accent that it is difficult to understand. It was also really cold, I wouldn´t be surprised if it was below 0 degrees during the night!! On Sunday I moved to my new appartment, with my two roommates: Germán and Angel. Because I was very tired I didn´t mind watching three football games... but next sunday.... I might escape from the football and go to the beach :)

The whole week I have been discovering the city, exploring the different neighbourhoods. Even though Las Palmas has less inhabitants than Amsterdam, it seems a lot bigger to me!!! I have been orientating myself a bit and next week I will start a serious job search and later on also an appt search. I feel very much at home where I am now, but it is temporary until I find something else, so I keep my eyes open!
