Mexico.... plus going home...

Dear All,
This was it, I am going home tomorrow and I am very very very sad.
You could try to cheer me up and come to the airport to pick me up! Breakfast is on me!
I arrive at 7.15am (hahaha) with MP640, direct flight from Cancun.
My last two weeks were pretty much fun, there are loads of tourists in Mexico, but it was nice. I spent some time in Chiapas: San Cristobal de Las Casas (lovely colonial town with a great handcraftsmarket and coloured houses AND the centre of superior studies of social anthropology where my profesor worksis located here, so I might come back to work here.... hihihi) and Palenque. Here we stayed in some lovely hostels made of several cabins in the middle of the jungle. I went to see some more ruines and waterfalls which were ok.
After that I stayed three days on the beach in Tulum which was dead cheap 5 years ago but prices have increased dramatically. But I had some fun days with the other people. And I went diving in a fresh water cave, absolutely incredible, diving through the stalagmites, WOW!
I went diving again the day after, in Cozumel, an island where all the massive cruiseships go for a day but the diving was very good. We could see for 30 meters and we saw a couple of seaturtles, amazing, I thought they were going to hit me, they were so close.
My last couple of days I spent in Isla Mujeres (where I went diving again to see a shipwreck, unfortunately they let the ship sink only for tourists...), an island right off Cancun with a great lovely white beach and different shades of blue ocean. Unfortunately the wheather is not that good, even though it doesn't rain as much as in Tulum, but today there seems to be the beginning of a storm which is going to get a lot worse this weekend, so maybe it is time to go home?
I'll see you in a couple of days, I'll try to get some energyboost on Friday so we can go out at night!
